Family Filled

We had a great weekend and the week is going pretty good also so far. On Friday Steve did have work so we didn't do much and Steve stayed up the ENTIRE night! He does that a lot. Its kinda funny to wake up at 5 and he is still awake. I tried to break him of the habit but I have failed so far.

Saturday we drove down to good ol' Beaver with my parents for the family reunion. It was a lot of fun I really like going to Beaver, which is funny because when I was little I HATED going there I thought it was so boring. But I like the small town-ness now and seeing my Grandma Bea. So for the reunion each different family wore a certain color. Mostly for the pictures we were going to take but I thought it was a good idea because there are so many great grandkids now that I don't even know who they are or who they came from so it was nice. We were the green team lol. And all the family was there! That doesn't happen too often so it was really nice.
There were tons of Willdens there as you can see. And the other picture is green team coloring. And that is Grandma Bea!

So we ate a yummy lunch and took some pictures with grandma Bea. Then we walked across the street to the only movie theater in town and watched some home videos. They were fun to see. That was the end of the reunion but our family hung around on our own for awhile and it was the funnest part.
Beaver has this way good, best in the world Mexican restaurant, MARIA'S!! The salsa is so yummy and addictive too ha. I ate tons and tons. Whenever we go to Beaver we HAVE to get some! So Maria's didn't open till 4 so we went and played at a playground till it was open. The kids loved it. Beau pushed them on those tire swings that go in a circle and they didn't want to stop. It made me sick to watch lol.

On Sunday we went to Steve's sister's, Cindy, home for his nephew's ordination. So we had lunch there after which was yummy again. We were asked to bring something and Steve forgot and didn't tell me so I felt like a slacker. It's always the wife's that bring that stuff!

This week has been its usual work and school filled. But I'm way excited for the weekend we are going to Frightmare's with Beau and Melissa. Ever since I was in like Jr. High I have gone to Lagoon at least once a year and haven't been yet this year. Steve is really afraid of heights so we will see how he does. He hasn't even been on the Colossus! But he said he would go on the rides I wanted to... I have my doubts. But I'm glad he is willing to try.
